And Happy Model Monday! Here's another strong, empowered, talented woman to help get you through the Monday blues. I know I need that extra boost today. This Model Monday features Stella Lucia, an 18-year-old Austrian stunner who made her runway debut in Giles' Bridal show of Spring/Summer 2015 and just so happens to me my all time favorite model. (Does that matter? In the slightest?)
Since then, Lucia has gone on to walk dozens of shows per season, up there in ranks with some of the greatest and most worked supermodels of all time. Although she tends to fly under the radar, she's a favorite of all of the big players including Saint Laurent, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton. With bee stung lips and a willowy frame, she walks the shows with a complementary power and grace.
What I love about Lucia is her little girl aesthetic. She maintains such a pure innocence, yet she can take over an entire show with one look. She can also easily transform her appearance to the aesthetic of the designer she's walking for.
Marc Jacobs, FW 2016
Chanel, Resort 2017
Moschino, Spring/Summer 2016
Lucia knows how to walk a runway, sure, but she can also strike a hell of a pose for editorials. She's appeared in many magazines and advertisements, bringing a sweet moroseness to every frame.

I find Stella Lucia angelic and mesmerizing. What do you think? Do you like her look? Why or why not? Whether you do or don't, here is a litter of my favorite Stella Lucia photos. If you hate her...I don't know what to tell you. Deal with it. Or expand your mind, give her a chance! Maybe you'll find something subtle that you didn't notice before, something that really speaks to you in her shots. In any case, enjoy your Monday and kick this week's ASS, Brainiac style! (with effortless chic and class).
